Well, I rolled my ankle and fell tonight on my run (not to mention ruined a perfectly good pair of #underarmor pants!!). I screamed out loud, “No!!!!!!” — not because of the pain but because of the fear of having to bail on yet another #toughmudder due to an injury. Same ankle, same sprain I spent the entire Spring dealing with. Can I please get some love and positive healing vibes? Tough Mudder is in 3 weeks 😞👎 #tryingtostaypositive

Between multiple #vacations, my severe food poisoning in Mexico, and Brian’s relocation comfort foods (haha), we both are needing a bit of a #detox. So, we’ve decided to do Beachbody’s 3-Day Refresh. It’s 3 shakes a day, a fiber drink, water, plus FOOD (thank God! Fruits, vegetables, and healthy fats).
If anyone wants to do it with us, I was going to run a group on Facebook for us all to do it together. Afterwards, I can transition it into a clean eating group where I’ll post a meal plan for each meal of the day to help you keep your results. Let me know if you’re interested or would like more details. A lot of my coach friends have done it and lost pounds, inches, and felt lighter, healthier, and refreshed. I know I couldn’t do weeks and weeks of a detox… but I think I can handle 3 days! :)

Vanilla, Peanut Butter, & Banana Ice Cream
Ingredients: 1 cup nonfat milk (or unsweetened almond milk), 2 scoops Vanilla Shakeology, 2 medium frozen bananas (cut into chunks before freezing), and 2 tbsp. all-natural smooth peanut butter (or other nut butter variation).
Preparation: Place milk, Shakeology, bananas, and nut butter in high-powered blender; cover. Blend on low for 5 seconds; increase power to high and continue blending for 30 seconds until smooth. Pour mixture in a large glass bowl; cover. Freeze for 4 hours, stirring every 30 minutes, before serving. Enjoy!
